PFS scenario items for purchase

at ther end of a PFS scenario you have a number of items avaiable
for purchase. Can you purchase a down grade of the item listed.
Example
1. the scenario offers a 3rd level perl of power for 9000 gold
could you spend $1000 gold for a level 1 perl of power?

2. The scenario offers you a maximize metamagic wand for $ 54000
could you instead buy the lesser wand for $14000 instead?

3 The senario offers a +1 frost brand long sword for $ 54,075
could you buy a +1 sword instead for $2000 instead?

1 and 2. No, you have access to the item listed on the chronicle.

3. +1 swords are always available.

The mindset behind this is that those are the items you discovered in the scenario, and/or they were possibly used against you. You brought them back with you to the Society, turned them in (as evidence, or for cataloging, or whatever), and now have the option to purchase them back.

Keep in mind that you don't have to find an item on a chronicle sheet to be able to buy it, as long as your Fame score is high enough. You can read about that in the Guide to Organized Play.
