Bloodline for an Illusionist?

So I've got an idea for an illusionist that mixes in Pit spells with fakes. He's gonna be a gnome for Effortless Trickery, which suggests a Sorcerer (could be a wizard and just having the racial compliment the casting stat, I'm considering that).

Not seeing any great bloodlines for illusionists though. Raksasha or Arcane I guess?

Not for the flavor you're going for, but Fey, Maestro, or Sylvan would be good choices as well. It really depends on what you want to flavor your stew besides pure illusion spells.

The side dish is conjuring real things as well to make the illusions more believable. Preferably things that can be simulated with Silent Image, like pits.

Yeah, Rakshasa or Arcane do indeed appear to be your best choices. Although Shadow is notable for having Shadow Evocation and Shadow Conjuration as bloodline spells, and giving some handy stealth stuff.

For the shadow bloodline, going with the wildblooded (umbral) archetype is a good idea. The abilities it replaces are almost completely useless.
