Goblin as a PC question

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

I am thinking of playing a goblin as a character in an upcoming game. I was looking at the Pathfinder PRG since I don't have the Advanced race Guide.

In it is says that goblins get a +4 size bonus to sneak. It also says they are Skilled and get a +4 to ride and a +4 to stealth.

Do the two stealth bonuses stack giving goblins a +8 or is the skilled listing a reprint of the size bonus?

correct, simply from their race goblins have a +10 to stealth (+4 size, +4 skilled, +2 dex). They are very sneaky.

I made a Goblin Sohei (mounted build). Haven't had a chance to use him yet.

In any case, in response to your question, they stack for +8. One is a size bonus and the other is a racial bonus. Different bonus types stack.

Liberty's Edge

I thought they would. Just wanted to make sure. With the +4 to Dex which I will apply to an 18 I get a 22 Dex which gives me a +6 modifier. That gives me +14 to stealth at first level before I even take the skill.

Awesome. I should play a paladin or knight in heavy armor just to negate the huge penalty. (hehe) Just kidding.

No reason not to, it's a cool character concept.

Liberty's Edge

Actually I was thinking Skald but since I got lucky and rolled an 18 I just gotta put it on Dex.
