Is there a way to do preformatted monospace text?

Many fora like this one support something like a "[code]" tag to allow for preformatted monospace ASCII text. This forum doesn't seem to support that tag, however.

Looking at the "How to format your text" help at the bottom, I didn't see anything that will do this. Is there a way to post preformatted plain text, have it display with a monospace font, and have all the spaces and such stay in place?

That's been asked, basically, under the aegis of setting up tables. Apparently the BBCode that Paizo uses doesn't support that feature.

We don't have a [code] or equivalent BBCode tag right now. Improving our messageboards markup support is on The Todo List but not currently assigned a priority.
