Silver Crusade 1/5

I'm playing a "pirate" that I'm making in society and my question is, if I get the money built up, may I buy a sailing ship and crew so that if I go on a mission that involves water travel I can sail her to the location, instead of the "society" ship?

What you want is in the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Pathfinder Society Field Guide (PFRPG), in the section under Vanities.

Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Pathfinder Society Field Guide (PFRPG), pg. 62 wrote:
Ship (10 PP): You own a maritime vessel that you use for trade, transport, or military purposes. This ship comes complete with a crew and earns enough money through normal operation to be self-sustaining, but isn’t necessarily profitable on its own. Whenever you require passage at sea, you may choose to take your vessel instead of an unfamiliar ship hired by the Society to deploy you and your party. You gain a +2 circumstance bonus on Profession (sailor) checks and it becomes a class skill for you. You may use Profession (sailor) checks to make Day Job rolls.

You must own this book to use this Vanity, however.

Heck of a lot cheaper than the 10,000+gp for a ship, plus extra for the crew...

Silver Crusade 1/5

so all I gotta do is get that book and use the prestige rather than the 10,000 gp it normally takes? Awesome, thanks! I'm so gonna do that.

Silver Crusade 1/5

oh trust me I will. problem is I've got a lot of games to go. just did the first one with this character tonight. and unfortunately this pirate was land flooded. :(

Shadow Lodge

Ranks in Craft (peg legs) sold separately.

probably wont go for anything like that. I'm making my "pirate" the "Robin Hood of the Seas" steal from the rich and evil people and help out the poor and good people. In fact tonight the mission was to help a village against an attack. So even at level 1 with my friends higher level and us playing the higher tier, I stood strong. And when I ran out of bullets, swiped the oracle/wizard's crossbow and continued to shoot. Although I did feel like a yo-yo for a lot of that.
