Oh good, you're here! I'm a new player to pathfinder (well, I've never played before. I GM'd Crypt of the Everflame a little while ago so I've got a decent grasp of the rules and I've experience in freeform written RP as well) and I had this cool character idea that I'd like some suggestions on.
He's not for any specific campaign right now because I don't actually have a game going. I'm looking for one though! (if anyone can point me to other websites that do pbp pathfinder I'd appreciate it. The competition for spots here seems fierce)
OK, so this guy... I was just browsing the SRD and came across a neat combination that I think would be fun to play. He's not really super-focused in any one thing but he's definitely not a melee brawler.
My goal is, by eighth level, for the first two rounds of a combat encounter to look like this:
round1: quaff potion of haste/cat's grace, then double-infuse true strike and longshot
round2: fire an explosive missile from my light crossbow, poisoned with a concentrated wyvern poison. 1d8+4d6+DC19 1d3con damage 1/round for 9 rounds.
Beyond that, pinging away with poisoned bolts, bombs and alchemical items I guess.
What I need to do this:
Trait: Accelerated Drinking (drink a potion as a move action so long as you start the round with it in your hand)
Discoveries:
Vestigial limb (so I always have a potion in hand)
Explosive missile (level 4)
Concentrate poison
Combine extracts (level 8)
He's going to be a Chelaxian human (already have a fun and interesting backstory in mind) so that leaves a trait and two feats unaccounted for.
(his sixth level feat is reserved for Master Alchemist)
I was thinking of using the third level feat for Extra Discovery: Extract, since I don't see me needing all my infusion slots for myself.
With a 20 point-buy these were that stats I was thinking:
STR 10
DEX 15
CON 12
INT 18 (with the +2 for being human)
WIS 13
CHA 8
So... opinions? advice? revelations that I'm totally breaking the rules somewhere? Doing all that at level eight is the goal but if it ends up taking a little longer in order to still be useful at lower levels that's fine. I don't need uber-optimization, just something that will be fun to play and useful in and out of combat.

You might want to consider starting with only 17 INT with the intention of bumping it up to 18 at level 4, this will allow you to up your CON score to 14 and make you more likely to survive to the higher levels.
I agree with using the feat for an extra discovery, but personally, I don't see enough value in the Infusion discovery. An Alchemist doesn't get enough extracts per day to make it worthwhile giving them out. Perhaps at higher levels it might change, but I have never thought "I really have too many extracts to use on myself, I really need to start handing them out" ( Now My Alchemist is a Feral Mutagen combat beast, so it's very possible that his need for extracts will be quite different from your bomb tossing, crossbow shooting Alchemist) discoveries that I would be looking at are smoke bomb, and everything on the discovery tree that comes after it.
And speaking of bombs, with your high INT and decent DEX you will likely find that bombs are a fairly effective tool for you, one of the feats could easily go into extra bombs if you find you are enjoying using them as you play the character.

I would choose the Grenadier archetype. Tou lose Brew Potion, but you obtain a martial wepaon proficiency (choose composite longbow, it is better than any crossbow, especially when you take Rapid Shot) and the Alchemical Weapon feature. This way you can use an explosive / raining arrow with acid / alchemical fire and an (Unstable Accelerant) bomb (say frost bomb) via explosive missile. You lose poison use, but alchemical items are better IMO. You also take Precise Bombs for free.

Precise Shot feat is great to have must have, you should need mostly 2 to hit at level 8. Precise Bombs are a must and so are force bombs swift, everything you run into is going to be immune to fire eventual any frost bombs also lose effectiveness as do shock bombs fairly quickly, force bombs never. you do full damage to incorporeal creatures and nothing I can think of is has any kind of resistance to it.
you can dip one level of fighter to get extra bonus feat to get point blank and precise shot out the way.
use mutagen to raise your dex. you and will never miss. It only gets easier as you go up in levels also as touch ac for creatures go down and down and down, because of size increased. My dm is currently having issue with the Alchemist in our group because it, there is no way to counter him. He has dispelling bombs also so every bomb dispels something also. It is very over powered until he runs out of bombs but then again. All the feats he uses for bombs worth with bow. He has deadly aim just for when he runs out of bombs. making him a very powerful character.
