so ive seen hydralic push being used regularly, the girl usin it says when she casts it. it automatically knocks her target prone, without making any king of cmb or ranged attacck. is that how it works or is she supposee to roll a cmb? also does the spell originate from her square or what(is she required clear line without any cover)?

Quickly answered by quoting the spell in question.
You call forth a quick blast of water that knocks over and soaks one creature or square. You can use this blast of water to make a bull rush against any one creature or object. Your CMB for this bull rush is equal to your caster level plus your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma modifier, whichever is highest. This bull rush does not provoke an attack of opportunity. Hydraulic push extinguishes any normal fires on a creature, object, or in a single 5-foot square which it is targeted against. Magical fires are unaffected.
1.) You may make a Bull Rush. A Bull Rush does not knock someone prone, by the by.
2.) It does not say you don't have to make a check.
3.) On the contrary, it tells you what stat to use for it. If it were intended to not require a check, this would be a waste of words.
In short, that girl is wrong.

That part is pure fluff. It has no mechanical impact whatsoever.
Many spells have descriptive text in the first line, but the second line tells you exactly what the spell does. It lets you make a Bull Rush. Bull rushes require CMB checks, and they do not push people over.
