A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 5–9.
On an isolated demiplane, the Pathfinders explore an Osirian ruin transported from Golarion by a powerful sorcerer centuries ago. And though the Pathfinder Society believes the fruits of their delve to be ripe for the picking, the unnatural landscape surrounding the tomb and a run-in with an unexpected guest make getting out with the treasure a tough task for the PCs.
"The Dog Pharaoh's Tomb" is the first scenario in the two-part Wonders in the Weave campaign arc. The story concludes in Pathfinder Society Scenario #3–14: Wonders in the Weave—Part II: Snakes in the Fold. Both chapters are intended to be played in order.
Written by Jonathan H. Keith.
If you play both scenarios in order, back to back, you get a minor boon. I will be running Part 2 at the same time on Monday, December 2nd. The thread for that game can be found here.

Current Roster:
1. Jeff L. - Fighter 5 or Paladin 8
2. lachancery - Cleric 5/Bard (Dawnflower Dervish) 1
3. Charlie Edmond - Fighter (Brawler) 4/Monk (Master of Many Styles) 2
4. Corey Cunningham - Pregen 7
5. Oren Satov - Alchemist 6 or Qinggong Monk 7
6. James Risner - Fighter/Gunslinger/Monk 5
Okay, here's how things currently work out. If Jeff L plays his Paladin and Oren plays his Monk, then you may play up (averages to 6.5, you get to choose which direction it rounds to). Anything else and you play down.
And Part 2 will be played down regardless, unless we get one more person to sign up for just that day.

Just my thoughts...
I'm not sure why Jeff and I are being asked to play specific characters.
5+6+6+7+6+5 = 35.
35/6 = 5.87
Add 1 for a full party (Season 0-3) = 6.87, rounds to 7 --> choice
8+6+6+7+7+5 = 39 == 7.5, either high or choice, depending on rounding
That said, I'm not advocating playing up with this mix. Might work, might not. How much risk do you want?
1) paladin = melee (or rarely ranged), limited spells, limited healing
might involve a mount, which is more melee.
2) Dawnflower Dervish = melee + spells, some healing
3) brawler+styles = melee
4) pregen = ?
5) monk = melee
6) ftr/gun/mnk = ranged?
Arcane, sneak and skills are absent in this mix... pending the pregen selection. Magic in general is also a bit scarce.
In general, Pal 8 should provide more benefit than Ftr 5.
With this mix, Alc 6 might provide more benefit than Mnk 7. At the very least it tends to fill the "anti-swarm" role. :P
The *only* advantage I see in playing my monk is that it has a relatively high AC and CMD and the archetypical builds for the other mixes mentioned tend to be rather more mobile or evasive than defensive. Specifics will tell the tale.

Starting with season 5, the Guide to Pathfinder Society has changed the rules for playing subtiers. Players do not have a choice to play up or down. The paragraph "Determining Subtiers" on page 31 describes which subtier is played.
The choice comes in that it has been ruled the players get to pick which way you round X.5s. In this case, if everyone who listed multiple options plays their higher level characters then you come out to 6.5, which could either round to 6 (play down) or 7 (play up).

well I just realized that I cannot play both part of this on my paladin due to him already having 26exp which the boon was the main reason to play him so I will be on my fighter for both sessions, sorry for the late update but just now doing a self audit and noticed. sorry if this makes thing difficult for you Jeff.

That makes things really simple, actually. It means there's definitely no choice, you all get to play the lower tier.
I was going to say it is easy now, since I'm getting called into work tonight. Plus I'd rather not have it be different since I wouldn't be playing the second one.
Sorry for backing out.
