Need Help Tracking Something Down

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I recall an ability that acts very similarly to detect/seek thoughts, was spell-like or supernatural but can't remember the name. It had a high usage per day or was at-will, and it might not have even needed a save as I don't remember one ever being needed for it. Honestly, I can't even recall the race/class/etc that granted it. Does this ring bells for anyone?

Deathwatch?

Using the powers of necromancy, you can determine the condition of creatures near death within the spell's range. You instantly know whether each creature within the area is dead, fragile (alive and wounded, with 3 or fewer hit points left), fighting off death (alive with 4 or more hit points), healthy, undead, or neither alive nor dead (such as a construct). Deathwatch sees through any spell or ability that allows creatures to feign death.

It wasn't that. It distinctly gave you info on the target but not if it was dead or alive. It read very, very much like detect/seek thoughts such as letting you know things about what its thinking, its past, its abilities, etc.

Read Minds from the Cleric Knowledge-Thought Subdomain?

Read Minds (Su): At 8th level, you can broaden your mental spectrum to encompass those around you. Doing so allows you to read the mind of every creature within 30 feet as if you had cast detect thoughts. This ability allows you to read the surface thoughts of any creature that you are aware of after only 1 round of concentration. Creatures in this area are allowed a Will save to negate the effect. The DC of this Will save is 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Wisdom modifier. You can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to your cleric level. These rounds do not need to be consecutive.

That may be it! Thanks!!
