Fell Rider and Overrun Feats

Rules Questions

Hey guys,

It looks like there is a great deal of confusion about mounted combat rules in general, but I'm building a 5th level fell rider to replace a dead character, and I was hoping someone could clear up something for me. The fell rider favors making overruns rather than charges, so I want to get rid of Attacks of Opportuinty when I overrun and trigger them on my opponents. To do this I could wait until I get to level 11, when the fell rider receives Deadly Rampage, but I would like to be performing overruns for the next 6 levels.

so my questions are:
1) If I take improved overrun and greater overrun (at 6), then do I get to apply the benefit of those feats when I overrun while mounted, or only when on foot?

and if they do work while mounted:

2) Also, do the +2 bonuses from Rampage and Improved Overrun stack? They aren't typed, so I'm inclined to think so.

3) if I make it to deadly rampage does the free attack happen in addition to AoOs from Greater Overrun?

finally,

4) if the feats don't apply while mounted, do they apply if I can get them on my horse? I know that's burning a lot of feats in either case, but I really like this archetype.

I was in a thread that debated issue 1. What I said at that times is the origonal mounted combat rules were not designed with animal companions in mind ( it was much hsrder to get an ac) if the rider does not do the over run then a core rulebook figher would have a lot if trouble making use of say trample after lvl 3.

It makes the most sense then to assume the over run is done by the rider.

The abilities appear to stack.

It seems you might get both attacks. One is dependant on a successful over run the other on the victim falling over.
