Nifty gun is a +2 double-barreled pistol with "when its wielder successfully bypasses an evil creature's damage reduction with a single attack, the creature's skin cracks into fissures of golden light. This light negates the creature's DR for the gunslinger and her allies, fading away after 1 minute. "
1. The last line assumes a gunslinger is wielding it, but I assume the ability functions for any wielder. Correct?
2. "Bypasses" does this mean having the adamantine/cold iron/good/whatever bullet to go around the DR, or just "Do enough damage to get thru the DR"?
3. "Single attack" does this include Clustered Shots?

I'll see about taking a crack at this, just be reminded that I've known to be wrong.
First question, I'd have to agree with you. You're wielding a pistol and Gunslinger is a word for people doing such things. However I could be convinced otherwise on this matter.
Second question. Bypasses means by the appropriate special material or alignment or weapon damage type. Core Rule Book page 12, Damage Reduction.
Three. No
Clustered Shots is defiantly multiple shots on the same target.
Bonus Question When full-attacking with the Seraphic Pistol does each attack count as 'a single attack' for the special ability of the pistol?

for nearly 30k more than a typical +2 double barreled pistol, this item better do *something*! It's not silver, or cold iron, or adamantine or anything. It's just +2. How is it going to bypass an evil creature's DR without any special properties? The only DR it could reasonably bypass is DR/magic. Casting Align Weapon on it would let it get around alignment-based DR I suppose.
seems a bit pricey for what you get.

Great, thanks.
I say full attack still works fine, but I see room for disagreement.
