Excellent. What's your secret?
Being married to the judge in question, I'd believe he'd say that part of it was staying away from the messageboards. (I also supsect a somewhat other than Human stamina) Sad to say it's our mutual opinion that there is no better way to lose interest in the game than by spending too much time here.
Mike has been a judge for Living City, Living Greyhawk Living Procampur (and it's later incarnation as Legends of the Shining Jewel), the Living Death Campaign, Living Arcanis, (and the successor one to Living Death, whose name I can't recall) the WitchHunter Campaign, He's also currently running two home campaigns, Wrath of The Righteous, which I'm playing in, and Reign of Winter.
Mike is also one of the major volounteers at Hudson County Pride Center and he is actually a speaker today at The Annual Transgender Day of Rememberance which is being hosted at the Newark campus of Rutgers University. He does this because he's actually vastly more interested in helping the gaming community than he is in playing the game. He's in very high demand as a judge. And he's willing to do things such as actually running THE ENTIRE 1-7 Dragon's Demand module at next February's Dreamation Convention. (reserve your spot EARLY)
There are people who've trucked out to Mepacon from several states away because they knew he'd be judging there.
He's also been David Santana's chief assistant in organising the LSJ and Pathfinder contingents of North American Gamer Association events in our local region.
He's also an avid Facebook gamer.

The circuit we do is generally Dexcon, Dreamation, and Mepacon, plus a couple of others. You'll find me, Santana, and Mike there. Last Mepacon, I wound GMing HellKnight's Feast. And there is this wag of a Pathfinder who always mouths off at whatever Venture Captain that gives him a mission. And this time we had with him an exceptionally "colorful" group of clowns. I've been giving Ambrus my best deep chest rumbling russian bear accent. to this point and he was asked how confident he was in the Pathfinder teams he sent out.
"After I do a briefing, I measure my confidence in how many drinks I'm going to order right after. After dealing with you, I order full cask."
Right after that I quickly grabbed myself a soda. Doing too much Ambrus is hard on the throat. :)
