Finally got mine this morning, so far only managed to turn it on and begin initial update (royal pain in the ass if you ask me).
Not that it really matters since i got no games yet :(
Playstation has no games 2: Electric Boogaloo ;)
Resogun and Contrast are free for PS+ members and Warframe, DCUO, and Blacklight are free to play.
I'm PS+ member, never heard of those.What genre are they?
Warframe is a co-op TPS, DCUO is a Free to Play MMO (which was pretty fun when I played it, but I hear has recently spiraled downhill from F2P to Pay2Win since i played it a year or two ago), and Blacklight: Retribution is a multiplayer FPS.
All 3 are free on Steam as well, by the by, and have been for at least a year.
DLed Contrast, but also bought AC Black Flag....never really got much into the franchise but they say it is worth trying.
I never compare any pc version to that of a console. I was just saying that some of these games for the PS3 still look incredible for a console, let alone a seven year old one to boot.
Take a look at the Last of Us outdoor scenes or even the window sill start screen. That's a hell of a lot of detail still pumping out of that little PS3.
Just like at the end of the PS2 lifecycle some of its best games came out. Team Ico did things with Ico and Shadows of the Collossus that the PS2 supposedly couldn't do. Granted, one of their ways for doing this in Shadows was to get rid of every other person in the game
