So does Demogorgon officially exist in Pathfinder or not? Was there ever an official reason why he wasn't included or is Savage Tide cannon and he's dead?

He exists, but is not active on Golarion.

While the name Demogorgon is open content, the idea of Demogorgon being a baboon headed, tentacled demon prince is owned by Wizards of the Coast.

I always wondered why he never showed up. Of course, now they have a bunch of cool demon lords of their own creation. I quite enjoy Deskari and can't wait to throw my party against him in Wrath of the Righteous.
