I really like the Pawns. I like to use them for NPCs, and then have the "normal" minis for the PCs and any NPCs or whatever that is part of the "party".
But I do not like organizing them. That is not really true, I like them to be organized, but I have not come up with a way to do it in a satisfactory manner.
For Tiny and Medium I have tried using these. These are what is bugging me, and that is especially bad as they are used the most. The pawns fall out of these stupid sheets all of the time, even when I keep the notebook in an upright position. I swear that the same monster that ties the wires into knots for stereos and other electronic equipment must be messing with these as well.
For Large these. The work pretty good, so I have no real complaints.
For Huge these. They work quite well, actually. Each page only holds four.

I used business card pages from Staples. Cheap and effective for medium and large. just place them, and then fold the pages in half. Keeps them from falling out and smaller transport. The huge I keep in their frames in a folder. The small I keep in their frames in the same boxes I use for the medium/large (NPC codex box for example.)
However, you're spot on that there isn't a surefire way to keep them in place. I'm considering just dividing them into zip lock bags based on type.

I keep putting mine back into the sheets they punch out of and putting the sheets - in the best numerical order I can - back into the box or sleeve the pawns came in.
That way I can reference the numbered list on the back of the box/sleeve to find my way to the right pawn, and see how many I have before digging into them (in case I need to find a suitable stand-in because of numbers, which I can then just reference the list for).

My brother found these. They are the same size as the Small/Tiny that I list above, but they are for coins instead of slides, so the plastic is more firm. I put two of the smalls in the same one, but for mediums I leave it limited to one each. They work a lot better,
I have a 2" binder for each box set. I am going to print out a list and put it in the sleeve of the binders. For the smaller pawn sets. I plan to use 1" binders, and cut up the original "packaging" and insert it into the clear spine, front, and back of the binder.
