That's very helpful Artaxerxes.
Aberrant bloodline is a great way to survive higher levels. SR plus the ability to ignore crits and sneak attacks is pretty sweet.
Everyone needs to be lighthearted a bit. At least I'm not one of those posters who troll 100% of the time.
On the helpful flip-side: it depends, sort of, on what kind of character you want. What school, if any, are you specializing in?

Bard/Loremaster?
I don't usually play sorcerers or wizards because I'm always afraid I'll run out of spells and won't be able to do anything else--or afraid I won't cast my spells enough because I'm afraid of running out of spells. I've played a witch or two, and really like the hexes.
I think a necromancer/loremaster with the Undead Bloodline Eldritch Heritage feats might be flavorful. A lot of overlap.
I just thought that since both Loremaster and Eldritch Heritage both need Skill Focus, they might synergize well.

I asked the same question a little while ago, and I went arcane bloodline, for the familiar. It was a unviersalist (arcane crafter) shadowcaster, so I took a familiar with it. It's nice, since the shadowcaster ability scales with CL (not wizard level) so it compensates a bit for being a universalist. Plus, darvision for a human, always nice. And I still have a familiar! (I took imp familiar & pipefox, it fits with a loremaster). I built it up to level 13, and I had a good +10 to +20 on all my knowledge skills.
