So I am running my first AP..awesome! but the physical book is getting a little beat up. The corners are starting to split and it gets dinged up a little. I try to only buy hard cover books for this reason but there is no hard cover option in AP (well except the Rise of the Rune Lords).

Does anyone have any good solutions for protecting the these softcover books?

Go to Staples, get the binding cut, have it three-hole punched, and put it in a three-ring binder.

Alternatively, from Staples or any good Stationary shop, find the book covering sheet rolls (rolls of clear plastic sheet, sticky on one side).

Cover your book so that the plastic sheet extends a little beyond the edges, then fold this plastic around the edges to the inside of the covers.

This protects the edges, corners and spine, reinforcing nicely and even gives your books a bonus to saves against spillage of liquids in the frenzy of battle.

It's also quite cheap, which is a nice bonus.

I subscribe to the AP line, so I have both the physical copies and the PDFs.

I use the PDFs via my laptop at the gaming table. I mainly use the physical copies to read through before the gamers assemble, to re-familiarize myself with the section that I am expecting to go through. The rest of the time, the hardcopies are on my bookshelf.

If you just have the PDF, print out a copy and put it in a 3-ring binder. I pretty much only buy PF stuff in PDF format. Again, I usually reference the material via the laptop at the gaming table, and use the hardcopy to read beforehand.
