Undead Uprising Scenario: Zombie Minion Henchman Rule

Hi All,

We just bumped into Caizarlu Zerren at the General Store in the Undead Uprising scenario.

That villain card states: "Before the encounter, each character at this location must summon and encounter a Zombie Minion henchman."

The Undead Uprising scenario card states: "When you defeat a Zombie Minion Henchman from a location deck, randomly select an open location and shuffle the Zombie Minion into that deck."

So our question is: the Zombie Minion henchman was summoned on account of the villain so do we apply the scenario rule and put two Zombie Minion henchmen at two random locations (one for Valeros and one for Lini - they were both at the same location when the villain was encountered)?

Or...do we not apply the scenario rule and put two random Zombie Minion henchmen at two other random locations since the Zombies were summoned (and not in the location deck to begin with)?

I think the Zombies should be added to other open random locations while my daughter thinks they should not be.

I think the scenario card phrase "...from a location deck,..." means what it says. A summoned Zombie Minion is from the box, not a location deck, and thus doesn't get shuffled into a random open location.

Caizarlu was from the location deck, not the Zombies.

So, Valeros and Lini fight the summoned zombies, then whoever explored fights Caizarlu. There is no shuffling of zombies into this or any other location.

Ahhh - "from the box" !!

That is the perfect way to read/understand it.
