Radovan and Jeggare Diorama

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to share this project with everyone since it has some meaning to me.

Recently, Dave Gross approached me to paint a diorama for him of Radovan and Jeggare. He had seen the original paint job on Jeggare produced by Reaper Minis for Pathfinder in 2010 and loved it. He has been a fan of mine since (which I find really strange that an author of his caliber is MY fan! LOL). I met him at GenCon this year after lots of discussions about this commission and we had a blast. He gave me the models there to take home and paint up.

He had a few requirements:

Radovan needed to be a golden blonde, not platinum blonde.
They needed to be standing in ruins of some sort.
The models needed to be removable from the base - just in case.

So, I came up with this for him and just shipped it off today!

Jeggare and Radovan 2

Radovan and Jeggare 3

I also wanted to show a Then and Now of Jeggare.

Jeggare: Then and Now

This project was fun and challenging and I'm glad that I met Dave through all of this as he's a really awesome person! I've enjoyed his work as an author and spending time with him as a friend.

I'm also glad that I was able to paint this miniature again after several years of pushing my painting and able to see a huge difference.
