Hey Everyone,

I wanted to share this project with everyone since it has some meaning to me.

Recently, Dave Gross approached me to paint a diorama for him of Radovan and Jeggare. He had seen the original paint job on Jeggare produced by Reaper Minis for Pathfinder in 2010 and loved it. He has been a fan of mine since (which I find really strange that an author of his caliber is MY fan! LOL). I met him at GenCon this year after lots of discussions about this commission and we had a blast. He gave me the models there to take home and paint up.

He had a few requirements:

Radovan needed to be a golden blonde, not platinum blonde.
They needed to be standing in ruins of some sort.
The models needed to be removable from the base - just in case.

So, I came up with this for him and just shipped it off today!

Jegarre and Radovan 1

Jeggare and Radovan 2

Radovan and Jeggare 3

I also wanted to show a Then and Now of Jeggare.

Jeggare: Then and Now

This project was fun and challenging and I'm glad that I met Dave through all of this as he's a really awesome person! I've enjoyed his work as an author and spending time with him as a friend.

I'm also glad that I was able to paint this miniature again after several years of pushing my painting and able to see a huge difference.

August 11th and 12th 2012
Card Kingdom, Seattle WA
Limit 10 people

Meg will be providing Commander Adept Nemo to all students to paint during the class. She will cover everything from prepping a mini to paint to finishing details. She will also bring a set of P3 paints for everyone in the class to try. Basing materials will also be provided and discussed to give students more options for creating unique bases.

Meg will cover different painting techniques including 2 brush blending which is a fast and efficient technique to paint models for play or display purposes. She will also discuss other techniques and when and how they can be used to achieve different painted effects.

Meg will discuss the benefits of wet palettes and dry palettes as well and be able to teach students proper use and cleaning of palettes as well as paint storage.

The class runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7pm with an hour lunch break.

Students need to bring their own brushes, a lamp, prep tools and files, palettes and any other supplies they need to feel comfortable for 2 days of painting.

Please contact Meg to reserve a space in the class at meg@megsminiatures.com

We've got a DM and 2 players. We just need one or two more players! Anyone?

Hey,

I have found someone else who is looking to get a Pathfinder game going. We'd like to meet on a weekend night, Fri or Sat or Sun after 8pm to game for a few hours every week if possible. We would be able to use a game room in Cafe Mox next to Card Kingdom in Ballard.

We would really like to find someone willing to DM the game since both of us would like to play. I'd like to find someone willing to run Kingmaker as it sounds like a great campaign!

So a DM and 2 more regular players would be great!

Meg

If anyone is still looking for another player or to start a new group in the Seattle area let me know. I'm living in Seattle near Georgetown and would like to find something around there or around Bellevue . . . preferably on a Friday night or sometime on the weekend. During the week is tough since I work until 7pm.

Fieldarchy,

AFK Tavern hosts an open Pathfinder Society game on tuesdays @ 7pm.

I can't make any games during the week and Everett is a bit of a drive for me to make weekly.

Anyways, I'm now in Seattle so I'll be searching for something a bit closer than Kirkland now. Thanks anyway guys!

Hey everyone,

I moved here about a month and a half ago and I'm looking for a game in the Seattle area. Preferably on the weekends since I work weird hours during the week. I am ok gaming in a game store or at someone's house. I would like a smallish group--more than 6 people is just too much. But 6 people including the DM would be a great game!

I'd like to start in a new game if someone is interested in getting something together. Or if the game is still low level that works too.
I don't want to jump in high level--not as much fun at that point to start out in my opinion.

I am fairly normal (I'm a gamer and mini painter after all), bathe regularly, have all of my teeth, no extra digits or extremities and I and make sweets regularly for any group I game with.

Hey,

Where in North Seattle? I'm actually in the suburbs in the Kirkland area but I'm looking for a game also.

Hey Everyone,

I just relocated to the Seattle metro area recently for work and am really looking forward to finding a Pathfinder game.

I am a female gamer in my late 20's, I am a professional miniature painter as well, own a dog named Conan, and have been playing and painting for the past 7 years. I am socially well adjusted, bathe daily, and know what deodorant is :o)

I would like to find a group in a few weeks and be able to either join an existing game or get a new one started. I am not looking to DM as I'm too discombobulated from my recent move but would love to play!

Please let me know if you are interested. I am willing to travel a little bit if necessary and even don't mind having games at AFK Tavern in Everett.

Hi everyone,

I am going to be moving to Saskatoon Saskatchewan sometime in mid to late summer if all goes according to plan and would like to find a Pathfinder or D&D group.
