There has been a lot of chatter on these boards about Blood Biography not being legal anymore. Is the use of the spell outright banned, or is it just not on the additional resources list anymore.
I ask because there is a scroll of it listed on a season 5 chronicle sheet, which may or may not make it legal to use. If it is legal to use with the chronicle sheet, is it an alignment infringment towards evil everytime the spell is cast?

Are you sure you're not thinking of blood transcription?

These are the same thing.

Yeah, I think you are thinking of Blood Transcription being outlawed. It has the evil descriptor and is specifically called out as not being allowed from Ultimate Magic. Blood Biography is a Advanced Player's Guide spell with no evil descriptor and not called out in the APG disallowed list in the Additional Resources.
For reference Blood Transcription is a spell cast on a recently departed spell caster to take one of their known spells. Blood Biography is a spell cast on blood or a blood stain and gives you information about who's blood it was and how it was spilled.

How are these the same thing? Axe beak companions are not allowed per additional resources, but are not banned from the campaign when you have the proper documentation that gives you special permission to have one.
