| Darksol the Painbringer |
Our party of 6 and 2 Minions are playing a campaign and we're at a Boss Fight with his minions.
All of the enemies are immune to Mind-Affecting Effects. Our Party Wizard had Mirror Images active (an Illusion spell of the Figment subtype). One of the mooks teleported next to the Wizard, and with the rest of our hands full unable to keep it away, it attacks the Wizard.
The GM was saying that since Illusions can be disbelieved and all this other stuff that Mirror Images can be disregarded by those who are immune to Mind-Affecting Effects. We have cited a couple sources that, while it doesn't come out and say they are or are not Mind-Affecting Effects, it had language to convince our GM that the Mirror Images can still be useful against the enemies. (On top of which, it was really bogging down the game.)
The GM went ahead and played it like any other creature to save time and keep the game flowing, but keeping the heat of the moment out of the argument, was the GM wrong in his assumption, or does he have solid footing on which his argument was proposed from (and could in fact be the correct interpretation)?
