I've noted in the Advanced Players Guide that the Witch doesn't have limits to their hex uses per day other than those that state they can only be used on a specific character once per day. Is this also true for the Magus Hexcrafter's use of hexes?
Another question is whether the Hexcrafter can use a Witches hex for Spell Combat or Spellstrike?
My reading is that the answer is "no" since the text states that the spell must come from the Magus spell list, but I'm asking the question just in case I read or interpreted it incorrectly.
Further to that, the Hexcrafter adds all spells with the word "curse" that are level 6 or lower. It's clear from the Hexcrafter archetype text that they can use those curse spells for Spellstrike, but can they also use them with Spell Combat?

1. All hexes are unlimited uses per day for witches and hexcrafters.
2. Spell Combat/Spellstrike only works with spells so you cannot normally use hexes with them. (There is a feat that lets this happen but is a terrible feat)
3. All "Curse" descriptor spells are added to the Magus spell list making them legal choices for spell combat and spellstrike.

As far as i know, the curses only work with spellstrike.
I know the Hexcrafter archetype section clearly identifies that the curse spells can be used with Spellstrike via the Accursed Strike (sp) subsection, but does it clearly state they can't be used with Spell Combat? Not allowing that doesn't entirely make sense to me. It certainly makes sense for curse spells that require more than a standard action, but it doesn't make sense to me for spells that are only 1 standard action - especially for touch curse spells like Bestow Curse or Old Salt's Curse.
As well, there's this text in the Magus paragraph for Spell Combat:
"As a full-round action, he can make all of his attacks with his melee weapon at a -2 penalty and can also cast any spell from the magus spell list with a casting time of 1 standard action (any attack roll made as part of this spell also take this penalty)."
Then in the Hexcrafter archetytpe section it states this:
"Spells: A hexcrafter magus adds the following spells to his magus spell list: bestow curse, major curse, and all other spell of the 6th level or lower that have the curse descriptor."
It seems to be that those curse spells would become part of the magus spell list and, provided they have a cast time of 1 standard action, should be usable for spell combat.

You beat me to it before I could finish my post. ;)
It all makes sense to me now and I can see that they specifically added the Arcane Strike subsection to make it clear that the curse spells can be used for spellstrike even if they're not touch attack based.
