My subscription order was processed on October 15, and the charge has been on my credit card since then. But the order still shows as pending. Should my card have been charged before the item shipped? And is there any way to get a more precise estimate on expected shipping date?

Also, I cancelled order #2848187 Monday (10/21/13), but my credit card has not been refunded yet. When can I expect that money to be returned?

Your subscription shipment was generated on the 15th and an authorization was made by your bank at that time to ensure that funds were available to process the order with. An authorization is a temporary hold on funds, but isn't the same as a charge. We have more information regarding this on our FAQ at:

Your order is still currently in our shipping queue and we should charge it as soon as it is processed and finalized. Currently our warehouse staff are processing orders as quickly as possible and we estimate we should have subscription shipments completely finished some time next week.

I have sent your financial institution an authorization reversal request for the authorization related to order #2848187. While this request has been sent its up to your financial institution to determine how soon the funds are released, but most are very quick to process these requests.
