My bard has purchased an eagle. I took the rank in Handle Animal to train it myself. I have a friend who plays a druid who, when I started talking about it, offered to help in the training. My immediate assumption was she could not do so legally. But thinking further about it, considering the fact that spellcasters can trade spells if it doesn't interrupt the flow of the game, is it legal for someone to assist another in training their combat animal at the end of the scenario? Either with Aid Another or by making the Handle Animal roll themselves?

But if you have 9 skill in it, you can auto assist. When Diplo PC does his diplo, everyone can auto assist if they have stat of 9+, since the lowest you can roll is a 1 and you only need a 10 to assist.
Avatar-1 is correct, the rules state that you cannot "Take 10" whjile assisting. However, as Eric mentioned, it is still possible to get to a point where you can automatically succeed at a non-combat Aid Another roll when you have a +9 or better in the skill you are using to do the Aid.
A "1" would still fail at an Aid Another action for AC or to hit bonus in combat, since your Aid Another action is an attack roll.
