if I GM a scenario, can I play it at a later date and get credit or do I lose the ability to play it for credit?

Is this the right place to ask this? Or should I place this question somewhere else?

This is not the right place. The Pathfinder Society section, General Discussion forum is the right place for this question.

To answer your question, you can first GM a scenario and then play it for credit later. You must tell the GM when you play that you have GM'd it before. Then, don't spoil it for the other players. That's all.

Since you're asking about "getting credit", I'm guessing you're talking about organized play. As such, this should be in the PFS section. Hopefully one of our friendly neighborhood Paizo ninjas will move it soon. :)

As to your question, you can get credit for any given scenario twice: once as a player, once as a GM. You just can't put both on the same character.

Will likely get a better answer from the "pathfinder society" section of the boards instead of 'pathfinder RPG" section.

This and other questions are answered in the free Guide to Organized Play.

It's alright. You will get used to the organization of the site. I flagged this thread, and now it is in the Pathfinder Society section. Everything is how it should be.

The best part of doing this is, when you're playing it, to let your party take the lead and watch in silence, or go along with them, when they are about to land in an enormous heap of trouble.

Do what you'd do if you didn't know about it. It's a new brand of fun.
