A mad dog barbarian starts with an animal companion at 1st level.
At 1st level, a mad dog gains the service of an animal companion, using the barbarian's level as her effective druid level.
An urban druid may not select an animal companion. Instead, she must choose from the following domains, rather than those usually available to druids: Charm, Community, Knowledge, Nobility, Protection, Repose, Rune, or Weather.
My question is would the mad dog barbarian and urban druid levels stack together for the animal companion even thought the urban druid does not have the option of getting an animal companion?
