Hello all. I've RP'ed for many a year now, but an relatively inexperienced to Table Top RPG. I've played in 'partial' campaigns (that is, campaigns amongst friends/family that were started but never completed)here and there, but nothing serious. I was both excited and shocked to hear of Pathfinder Society, a world-wide and continuous RPG is as amazing as it is daunting.
Anyway, I digress. What advice could you give a guy who's only experience is half assed games that rarely adhered to the canon world (and sometimes rules) of Pathfinder? What and where should I look (at) for appropriate knowledge on lore to make a character that makes sense? Should I use an incarnation of an old character, or start anew since my experience here is likely to be vastly different than what I'm used to? Thanks in advanced for all the help, I doubt I'm the first to post such a topic, but I appreciate the aide none the less.
