Share Spells: Form of the Dragon, et al.?

Rules Questions

So, just a silly question.

So far as I can tell, Share Spells can be used with all the various Form Of The X spells, because they're non-instantaneous personal spells. This is by far the most significant usage of them I've ever thought of; the results are obviously appealing.

But wait, what about Improved Share Spells? The 5' range limitation is a shortcoming, perhaps, but nonetheless: It seems to me that this would let you and your familiar turn into a pair of draconic wrecking machines. Or elementals, or whatever.

EDIT: Also, if you do that, can you pick different forms for each? Maybe not with FotD, where the material component dictates form (so I don't think you can do two even if you have lots of scales), but for some of the others, it seems like you could pick a different form for each.

Looks legit to me. Familiar hp are usually the limiting factor here.

Your familiar has the same init as you. It's a corner case but if your attacks are going before your enemies and you think you have a shot at murdering your foes w/you familiar's new form BEFORE your opponents can get to them, why not unload?

Anything I can do to get familiars more gameplay...
