Properly Spending Earnings from Encounters

Advice

After our 8th level party (Admixture-specialist Wizard, Bow Ranger, Musket Master Gunslinger, Invulnerable Rager Barbarian, Ice Witch, and me as the Mobile Fighter) finished back-to-back boss fights, we finally divided the loot we acquired.

Sparing specific details for our loot rules, I managed to wrest a +2 Belt of Physical Perfection, a Cloak of Resists +3, and a +1 Greatsword (since I only had a Masterwork Weapon), bumping my AC up 1, an extra +1 to hit (and 2 damage), +3 to Saves (+4 for Fortitude and Reflex), and my weapon is finally magical. (If you must know, most of my investments have gone to AC, since I am one of two tanks for our group.)

In addition to this, with all of the other junk we sold from the enemies' belongings, we managed to rake in a total of 30,000 Gold Pieces. Setting aside 6,000 Gold Pieces for emergencies/upkeep due to campaign purposes, we each get 4,000 Gold Pieces to spend.

There is good news and bad news to this dilemma. The good news is, the party Wizard crafts Wondrous Items for us at cost, and one of our cohorts gives us a 25% discount on Weapons and Armor (both magical and non-magical). The bad news is, I end up regretting spending money since it seems like there is a contingency I seem to forget, so I am practically forced to owe money to my party members (or die, though not because they will kill me, but because I'd die by refusing to owe them a debt, and thusly owing an even greater debt for dying, assuming they are willing to raise me from the dead).

Now, in the past, my party has had to loan me potions (and I've had to pay them back for the potions they loan me). Quite frankly, I am sick of having to be in debt for people having to give me potions because I somehow die so quick (irony, since I am the tank, I should be dying the least, but if they're not dying and I am, then I am doing my job, right?)

With the 4,000 that I gained from these fights (as well as the 140 that I retained beforehand), I want to spend this efficiently (and without having to owe people money for potions or whatever), while still using it to enhance my capabilities further.

That being said, the first idea of an item that comes to mind (and I cannot go without it) is the Jingasa of the Fortunate Soldier. It gives +1 Luck Bonus to AC, and negates a critical 1/day. Once I get enough Special Points for an extra Trait, taking Fate's Favored would increase this bonus to +2.

At any rate, being craftable at a price of 2,500 Gold Pieces, it gives me 1,500 left to work with. Talking with my GM, he's debating as to whether he will allow me to have a 2/day Quick Runner's Shirt for twice the cost (which is the RAW approach, but he might make a 50% increase for adding extra properties to balance the power). If this item combination isn't valued at 1,000, then I will simply get Feather Step Slippers, since Difficult Terrain comes up constantly in our gameplay, and being immune to all forms of it is a very great tactical advantage.

Taking this value, I then proceed to having 500 left, for 3 potions of Cure Moderate +10 (which the GM valued at giving to us for 125 Gold a piece), and a Cure Light +5 for 50 Gold. I can afford a modified Ioun Torch (Cleric Spell and Caster Level) for 162.5 Gold, and have about another 50 Gold left for character maintenance.

My question of advice pertains to if this is a fair amount of money to spend across the board for the respective categories (magic items, consumables, utilies, misc. stuff).

In most table games I've played in the party keeps a percentage of the loot to pay for rezes and consumables.

Frankly if I was playing a back liner I'd happily hand the tanks a couple of spare potions so they can better keep stuff off me. I'd never expect to be paid for this, although they say what comes comes round goes around.
