Intimidate Question

This may have been posted before, but I can't find it so here goes...

Why is Intimidating Prowess a feat and Bruising Intellect a trait? Both change the base stat for Intimidate away from Charisma, but why is changing it to INT a trait and STR a feat?

Intimidation prowess adds strength modifier on top of the possible charisma modifier, it doesn't replace it.
