Dispel protection

Advice

I've noticed that to increase damage for a monk, permanency+ magic fang is an affordable method (at a "mere" 7500 gp). Now, the problem is, under strict raw, dispel can easily undo this costly spell quite easily (I have seen it houseruled otherwise though). So I started wondering, how to limit the effects of dispel (or greater dispel).

-Buffer zone: You get a bunch of simpler, long-term spells cast on you at a higher CL than greater magic fang. Not terribly efficient.

-Ring of spell turning: prohibitively expensive, but probably the best option. Available at high level, but until then you're at risk.

Any other ideas?

The Ring of Counterspells with a Dispel Magic in it is what my group has always used.

Whow, that is a lifesaver. And so cheap too. Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted, and should serve it's purpose fairly well (I'll have to carry several though).
