Artifact weapons attack bonus

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

Hi Gang,

I'm a little confused. I just starting digging into the Mythic Adventures because my players expressed an interest in having a mythic campaign. I don't use artifacts or legendary weapons all that often. I noticed the "Black Iron Axe" has a +6 bonus and that confused me. It is a Keen(+1 modifier) Vorpal(+5 modifier) greataxe.

So, is this a +12 weapon?

What are the rules bonuses for artifacts, legendary weapons, etc?

Artifacts are unique or very rare items that the players cannot craft, and should only be used when they are important to the story/campaign.

If it is a +6 Keen Vorpal Greataxe, then yes - it is a +12 weapon.

There are no rules (AFAIK) for artifacts, other than they are (almost) unique, cannot be crafted and are hard to destroy.

I am not sure what lengendary weapons are, but I assume they are similar in nature.
