Friends & I just tried out this game and loved it but had a couple questions. (1)Has anyone out there made up character sheets so we don't have to mark up the cards? (2)If 2+ characters are at same location and 1 is fighting a monster can any of the others help in any way? Lastly if the Sandpoint is like an intro set and when do Runelords you start new characters, why would you receive a check for one of your skills as a reward for end of 3rd quest if not going to play that character again?

1) Character sheets are available for download here on the site for free.
2) Yes if they have abilities or cards that let them, see other threads to those answers here or on Board Game Geek.
3) The game is designed so that you can play the intro and then continue on with the adventure path with those same characters. You can make new ones if you want though!

2) generally No. You have to encounter the cards you turn over. Other players can throw a Blessing your way. Valeros can add 1d4 to combat checks when he is at the same location. Lem can add 1d4 to checks when he is at the same location. Harsk can add 1d4 to combat checks when he is at a different location. There may be others, and some of these have costs that the layer may not want to spend.

2) you can't just pitch in and help with your 'combat dice', but there are lots of cards and powers that characters can use to help their comrades. Some of which work when you're in the same location, some of which only work when you're elsewhere. But if you don't have a card/power that says you can help with "a check" or "another player's check" then you cannot help.
