Ranger / Rogue & Rage?

Advice

I have a character concept I am working on developing for a

Human - Ranger/Rogue but I want to find a way for him to gain the ability to rage or something similar.

Is there a way for him to NOT take another class and still be human and gain the rage ability outside of a spell?

Wild Stalker archetype should do it.

Grand Lodge

Wild Stalker stacks with Trapper.

So, do everything you want, in one class.

No Rogue levels.

Thanks guys the Wild Stalker will work, but bbt I want the rogue levels for the SA, as he will be a two weapon fighting ranger!

Grand Lodge

Sneak attack is one of the most overrated, and misunderstood forms of extra damage.

It is situational, and takes time, resources, and effort to set up, and even then, it doesn't work against all opponents.

Go Wild Stalker/Trapper Ranger, and Rage, deal with traps, Hide in Plain Sight, and do this with a full BAB, lots of skill points, d10 HD, and two good saves.

Rogue levels will cripple you.

Wild stalker trapper works well, if you want sneak attack I recommend prestige classes (assassin is always fun) as low level bab and HD hard to make up for or ....

If you do want sneak attack early try ninja - they replace trapfinding with other goodies but if you have that from the trapper archetype its a no brainier!!
Running on water, cool ki powers (forgotten trick for a combat feat/rogue talent/darkvision/feather fall/climb speed/disguise/invisibility etc etc when you really need it) makes it fun and awesome.
As you don't need wisdom for spells (no point if not focused ranger and loose it with trapper anyway) you can invest in a 12 chr and be a melee type that actually looks good and has style!
