Anybody messed around with some kind of conversion? The template as-is in the ELH is too powerful for the scope of Pathfinder, since PF CR's top out at 30. So it would have to be heavily reworked, and I'm thinking it'd be a mythic template. Perhaps some kind of advanced 'Advanced Creature' template?
Any thoughts or ideas?

Why would you need one? Stacking a few mythic templates could easily produce a result equivalent to what you need.

As a rule of thumb, I really hate stacking tons of templates on top of one another, but maybe that's the way to go.
That or just giving the creature a high mythic rank out of the norm; after all MA says that this is possible, if out of the ordinary.

Well, look at what the Paragon template grants.
Lots of bonuses to stats and abilities, but doesn't actually change Hit Dice. It just grants everything Hit dice does and more.
A Magical Beast with 20 Hit dice is no different then a 10 HD Magical Beast with an extra +10 hp/hd, +10 to hit, +7 to saves, and the same Str score for the same damage, and some template you call 'epic badass'
That's what the Epic Paragon class is...a badass template throwing modifiers on something.
just advance its hit dice without changing its size. If you wanted to make a level 10 fighter as tough as a level 20, you might just as well make him a level 20 and call him "level 10 with the badass template". If it looks badass, that's all you need.

Yeah, Paragon had some strange quirks.
A Small Paragon skeleton was technically a CR 18 or so, but since it still had 1 HD and no Turn Resistance, a 1st level Cleric with the Sun domain could destroy it no problem. The XP system breaks down when 1st level characters take out CR 18 creatures.
Templates in Pathfinder too are very prone to weird effects, especially when stacked, to be honest. While it's not THAT bad, look at what a young advanced kobold looks like (penalties: -1 avg damage. benefits: +5 AC, +1 melee attack bonus, +5 ranged attack bonus), or for utter insanity, what a young advanced skeletal champion pit fiend looks like (CR9 monster with 319 hit points, init +18 and at will DC27 Blasphemy).
