Just wondering about the setting book in this AP. I ordered it awhile ago on amazon but now I was just informed I wouldn't get it until next year, instead of next week. Is there a shipping issue with amazon, or with everyone?
I already received my PDF and the book itself was shipped last week. I can't speak for anybody else, but I had no delays.
Got my book today, so no delay.
From what I understand, Amazon regularly ships new Pathfinder stuff much later than Paizo do. I often hear about delays on new books being delayed by a month or more.
Received mine today as well. Grabbed it on my way to work, can't wait to get home and open it up.
EDIT: Reading failure. Somehow completely missed it was ordered from Amazon. Four times no less. Mine came from Paizo.
I prefer amazon because I have no shipping price and I get things in 2 days. On Paizo I'd have to wait way longer plus pay a lot in shipping since I'm in canada. I'l probably get it from my local game store then.
Got my book in the mail as well.
BigCoffee wrote: Both from Amazon? Nope, I get mine here. I did check at Amazon and yes, they list it as a preorder set to arrive on January 17th(!?). I know retailers have theirs under way, but for some reason Amazon is blegh this time around.
Guess I will cancel amazon for this one. I hope they don't f&%! up with my Beastiary 4 order too.
I found that with amazon they always have a release date far far in the future until they actually have the book in stock. so it could be tomorrow or next week, it all depends when they get their shipment from Paizo.
ahhhh so it could come in muchh earlier then listed?
it always does:) usually a few days to a week and half after the Paizo official release date. Generally not more then 2 weeks:)
I guess I can wait, free shipping ariving right at my door, I'l be a patient Coffee
Amazon's constant release date games was why I finally ended up going with the subscriptions here. I can understand not wanting to pay the shipping costs though. They can be a little nasty if you don't want to use the bad idea that is UPS Mail Innovations.
You mean like the fact the second module for WotR has been stuck in Connecticut for two days now while UPS sits on their thumbs and twirls? I also have a friend who refuses to use UPS because they always, ALWAYS lose her stuff. (I also had a friend who worked there. It's not a good place to work unless you're a driver.) Still, they tend to get the stuff here fairly regularly and the free PDF makes waiting tolerable. ;)
Yes. After a couple of Mail Innovations shipments where I got *no* tracking information at all that came in at the very tail end of their estimated time frame (which was nearly two weeks), I decided to go with straight priority mail shipping. It's significantly more expensive, but at least I get my stuff in a timely manner.
i've always gotten my books from amazon 1-2 days before the earliest date they tell me, whether it was ups, fedex or usps, and i always go with the free standard shipping. i live in wisconsin.

.... Just have to say - I've gotten my stuff via the USPS shipping within three days of the shipment notice since Paizo switched to Mail Innovations - used to take two weeks. I live in Hawaii.
Mine came in yesterday as part of my subscription.
I got mine yesterday as well and I'm a subscriber! Yay! I was on my way to work and opened the door just as the mailman was about to knock. LOL!
I'm in Canada, how much do you pay for shipping?
