It's nice to know that having been away for awhile I can always come back and find serious threads on the messageboards about "boobplate armor." It's just a matter of time before somebody posts a thread about attack and skill penalties for a wearing a codpiece outside of his size category.
Anyone else spot anything here on the site that's boggles your mind lately? Maybe something really gonzo like Rob Kuntz actually publishing something?

Well, there is a thread about some people not liking oddball races, and some liking them. Oh, and Land of the Everboors got changed from "kill the orcs" to "kill the cultists".

I think the biggest WTF? moment for me lately was seeing a complaint thread get derailed into a massive political argument because the OP made the mistake of mentioning the affiliation of the people he was complaining about. The next two pages of the thread were back and forth about politics rather than almost any discussion of gaming, until a moderator had to step in.

Every so often a thread resurfaces where people suggest that Anita Sarkeesian is an evil, man-hating witch.
Which would be ironic if it weren't so depressing.
The forums also seem to have reached a state where every single topic will be dismissed as obvious/generic/done-to-death-already.
You can discuss combining three different 3pps stuff with a homebrew race in an awakened-animals-in-magical-madagascar-meet-wizard-Darwin world and someone will post a world-weary sigh like, "This again, what next? Alignment debates and paladins? Stealth? Monks?"
