1) Just wanted to double check that this ok for the Druid, I'm pretty sure it is. The Druid reveals an animal for the d4, then the Druid discards same animal card to convert to the d10... that is fine correct?
2) I know there is eratta on Ambush that it gets banished, but do other barriers such as the blade one (sorry don't remember the name) get suffled backed in when undefeated, I'm assuming they do as it would represent a blockage that you are having trouble getting around.

1) I think that's fine, since both of those abilities are your character's powers.
2) Yes, the bladed trap would get shuffled back in. Same with things like Locked Passageway.

For the second question, from page 11 of the rulebook:
If you fail to defeat any bane, it is considered undefeated and is
shuffled back into the location deck.
There are some barriers that specify you banish them even if you don't beat them, but if the card doesn't say otherwise, this applies to any monster, barrier, henchman, or villain.

Sorry to mention this but isn't there a limit that you can only use ONE power per check? Now that I think of it, if this is true then we were breaking this rule a lot last night. Good question though.

You can have more than 1 of the same card type if played by multiple people. In my games, we often use many blessings for the same check.
Page 11.
"Each player may play no more than 1 of each card type."
I believe revealing the animal and then discarding are both fine since they are different powers.

"Players may use any powers that apply to the check. Each power may be used no more than once per check."
