Mythic Adventures and hero points?

Can someone tell me if there is a prohibition against hero points for mythic characters? Seems like a very similar resource, but I can't find anything that says they can't both be used. So.... can you use hero points and mythic points? Can you use hero points and Mythic Points to take 3 standard actions in one round?

"Hero points" and mythic are both optional rules, there's nothing preventing you from using both.

But when doing so, situations like the one you describe should be considered and the GM may want to limit those combinations.

Both would be over-kill. If you're using mythic rules you're going to be awesome so I can't see the need for hero points. However you can use them both if you want.
