Hey all,
So here is the dilemma:
In my homebrew modules and scenarios encounters give gold equal to an amount of money the party would have (think of each CR having "points" and each "point" is worth XP and Money based on the difference of next level's starting gold - current level's starting gold) and we are now playing through Second Darkness were that does not seem to be in effect.
We have made around 4.95 gold each player and there are 5 PCs so a grand total of 24.75 gold for the entire party. This seems off to me as a DM since it means that characters who are item dependent are now gimped compared to the characters that are not, or at least so to speak.
In Second Darkness should each player be floating around 1,000 gold minus all the expenses by the time we reach level 2? I have little experience with the Adventure Paths, but a net total of 24.75 seems awfully suspect. Is there supposed to be a point later in the first part that drops money onto the PCs to make up for the deficit?
I am helping a new DM slide into being able to DM. I'm the co-dm that calls out everything, calls out AOOs, and other information to help players be advantageous as well as the DM to be so.
Haha, by the end of our second Seed I taught him the POWER of GRAPPLE! XD
Mwaha! MWHAHAHAHA!
