Hello. I own a copy of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game and was wondering, when I go from adventure path "A" to the next, adventure path "B", do I take "A"s path cards out and only use the pack from "B"? Or do I keep combining them all the way through the whole Rise of the Runelords so that in the end I use all of them randomly?

According to the rule book (Page 19, Paragraph 3) you leave all the cards in.
However, I believe I read somewhere that when the as-yet unreleased adventures finally come out there will be a point where they tell you to remove "low level" cards as you use them (instead of banishing the card you remove it from the game).
Frankly, I find this planned system a bit cumbersome. What if I'm playing a high level adventure with one group of friends but a low level adventure with a different group. I have to sort through all my cards each time I switch groups? Egads! I thought game prep took a lot of time now.

You will initially combine all the cards, BUT, I think once you are on adventure path 2 you start taking basic cards out of the box when you banish them. So you will eventually start trimming down the playable cards to higher level ones based on the adventure path you are on.
Close. It will happen in Hook Mountain Massacre which is adventure 3.

You already have all of the rules for this—they're on the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path card.

We've designed this as a campaign-oriented game, and we've gone to quite a lot of effort to make that as easy as possible for one group. But when you want to use it for multiple simultaneous campaigns, you'll have to make some kind of concession. I see four options:
1. Take the effort to log all that stuff as reset as needed. You get the game we intended, but it costs you time and effort.
2. Buy another copy of the game. You get the game we intended, but it costs you money.
3. Ignore the removal part. You'll keep running into less powerful stuff than you should at higher levels, which isn't ideal, but it takes no effort and costs no money. (You'll still need to remove the higher-chapter cards when you play with the lower-chapter group, but that's relatively easy.)
4. Try to keep your groups on a similar level. As far as game design goes, there's no real downside... but it may not be possible in your circumstances.

We just leave all the cards in the box. If a card turns up with a number higher than one we are currently campaigning just draw a random card from the box until you get a suitable one.
E.g. if a new group is doing Brigandoom! and they reveal a Monster with a (1) in the top corner we just show random monsters from the box's deck until a (B) or (C) shows up.

Well, now you're just making sense. That's crazy talk!!!

As a related question: Suppose you own the adventure packs for the first 3 expansions in addition to the base set but want to play a scenario from either the base set or say the first adventure pack. Which cards should you be using for such an adventure? Would it make more sense to use only cards numbered less than or equal to your scenario's expansion number (counting B and C as 0s of course)?
