Familiar Satchel

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

If a character had a Familiar Satchel on his person (pg 64 Ultimate Equipment) with his familiar in it - and the character went invisible would the familiar also be invisible, or would it be visible but its satchel remain invisible?

If the former, when does the familiar come visible?

[This armored case provides total cover to any Tiny or smaller
creature contained within it. It includes air holes (which can be
plugged with cork stoppers if you need to go underwater) and
two receptacles for food and water.]

If I put a waterskin in my bag and I go invisible, will the waterskin go invisible? What about the water in the waterskin? What about the swimming beetles in the water in the waterskin?

Yes to all the above.

familiar is a separate creature

when does it become visible?

when it leaves the satchel or when it attacks - does the invisibility continue on it?

Much like Avian said, if the satchel is on your body when you go invisible, so does the satchel. If the familiar leaves the satchel it becomes visible. You'll need to utilize the Share Spells with Familiar if you want it to go invisible as it is a separate creature. No two for one invisibility.

The description on the Invisibility Spell is quite clear:

Invisiblity

Particularly in your case, the line, "Items dropped or put down by an invisible creature become visible". Since your are invisible and not your familiar, it will become visible as soon at it leaves the pouch. And if you do cast invisibility on the familiar, as soon as it attacks or makes an aggressive action it becomes visible.
