Sash of the War Champion & Arch Types

Would Sash of the War Champion Work with arch types that replace the current armor training, or not due to the fact that it is replaceing armor training?

You'd gain the benefits of the boost to bravery (since you still possess it) but no benefit at all from the boost to Armor Training, since you no longer possess the Armor Training class feature to be boosted.
