Building a burrowmeister

Advice

The campaign I'm currently in looks like it will be mostly underground. I'm playing a magus that enjoys building constructs. So I'm hopping to build a burrowing construct. Now, the definition of animate object says you can give it a burrow. So I was tinking of making an enclosed chamber of some sort (or a small house) and give it a burrow speed. I dont know if there's a way to allow it to burrow through rock like certain monsters.

Otherwise, I'm wondering if there are other constructs that can burrow. Otherwise I'll try to create my own. I was inspired by some of ravingdorks own constructs.

Make an iron golem version of a bullette, with acid secretions instead of poison gas breath. Hell, go with a brass golem, those are caster level 5. A bullette should be big enough to ride around in. If not, give it an extradimensional smugglers' hold. Didn't I see a dwarven burrowing machine in the Stronghold Builders' Guide or some such? You could animate one of those.

I'm limited to paizo stuff though. Dont know if I can use the Stronghold builder's guide. I like the bulette idea. Ultimately though, I'm pretty sure I'm going to use animate objects because of the cost. Dont really need it to fight.

One question I have is, are you allowed to use a greater amount of construction points (for a greater cost of course)?

The normal price is (material+(HD+CP)*1000). For a normal garguantuan construct, the enchnatment cost will be HD+CP=15. Could I add more CP? They're never clear about it.

Absolutely. That's how you add more features, right? You add the features you want, and figure the cost in points based on that, not the other way around. I was wrong about the SBG--it has rules for making a building that can burrow like an earth elemental. In any case, have fun! The only limit is what your DM will put up with.

I think he'll put up with a lot, but we've been pushing it. One of us managed to rob a magma dragon, so let's say we might have frustrated him a bit.

Well, I think I've got a design for my basic construct. It'll either be huge or gargantuan. I'll probably have to have a discussion with the DM, but this is the basic idea.
Here's an image of the type of thingy:

Das Burrowmeister

Huge Construct: (7 HD)

Additional movement (Burrow, Swim) (2CP)
Metal (2CP) (Might upgrade this myself though in materials)
Piercing Attack (for the main drill, also to have an excuse to burrow through rock) (1CP)
Maybe:
Additional Attack, Grab, Constrict (3cp) (to fit the worm thing)
Trample (2cp)

Estimated cost(main build):
(material+(7+5)*1000)=material+12000. I expect the material cost will be VERY steep if I want something so elaborate. Still, if I can convince the DM, our underground campaign will get a hell of a lot cooler.
