I'm referring to page 24-26 of the guide to PFS organized play and having trouble understanding what it says I can do with fame and pp. To be more to the point when purchasing from my faction what is considered from my faction does this mean i can buy with 18 fame something = 5,250 so could I buy an wonderous item from say core rule book for that price that's not on my chronicle sheet or does it have to be something out of the Society Field Guide? a little clarification would be cool

You can buy with gold any PFS-legal item (refer to Additional Resources if necessary) up to the amount allowed by your Fame, or any item that's Always Available, provided that you're in a settlement of more than 5000 residents.
If you acquire an item with PP, you don't have to meet the Fame requirement. Unless you have certain special boons, you can get an item worth up to 750 gp for 2 PP. Such an item is worth 0 gp if sold, yes, even if it's a gem or a bag of 750 gold pieces.
