Dhampir Cleric and Channel Smite

Hello, I'm building a Dhampir Cleric at 11th level and I found something that seems to be an error, but I'd abuse the heck out of it if it isn't. There is a Dhampir alternate favored class bonus that increases your caster level for channeling feats used to affect undead. Does this mean that I'm effectively a 22nd level cleric when using channel smite on an undead? That seems really overpowered and I hope I'm misinterpreting the rule, but I haven't found anything that says otherwise. Thanks for the help!

I was just about to ask the same thing. This seems a little ridiculous if you ask me.

You are adding to the effects of the channeling feat, not channeling. For channel smite this will actually do nothing.

Where it would make a difference is a feat like Channel Hate, making it so that the effective caster level of the vengeful outrage ability is higher.

The Dhampir's favored class bonus does not effect the number of dice rolled by their channel energy. It only increased their caster level for effects created by channel feats.

The one I'm most worried about is Command Undead, for which CL affects both the save DC and the number of HD of undead you can have controlled at once.

And I do think it would affect the save DC for Channel Smite.
