OK so I am likely going to have to roll a fighter. Not the end of the world I suppose... Granted Stat line will be excellent with both Str and Dex at 18. So my question would be, assuming a fighter character would 5 feats for TWF be better than 5 feats for full Crane Style? I assume the Crane Style would use a two-handed grip on a one handed weapon to account for the style. In many ways it seems to wash out..opinions??

I agree. The Brawler or Unarmed Fighter type would be suitable, as you can have the best of both worlds. If you're worried about feats (probably shouldn't be, though freeing up some feat space for things like Iron Will would be nice), the Unarmed Fighter is pretty sweet.
If feats aren't an issue, the Brawler has better offensive capabilities and crowd control. Plus, you're not really limited to using your fists (which are 1D3, which is jack squat); other weapons such as Bronze Knuckles and Cestii are available, and very suitable.

You still must agree though that a cestus is objectively better than an unarmed strike, both due to how easily they can be switched out for special materials and the fact that they have a decent threat range (19-20) when compared to unarmed strike. Since this build looks towards making a lot of attacks, that is important since crits become more of an issue. This is particularly true since a fighter has the feats to spend on the crit chain (which is good since getting keen on both cesti seems like a pain)
Well, that depends on whether your hand is considered 'free' with a cestus at least. You have the ability to hold and even utilize items, so I would argue for it.
Stats are good. (Siwdcoch 18 12 10 18 14 12). These are locked as is race which is human. All books are allowed. Character is epic but the campaign should keep him in his place!!
So when you say locked, does that mean you HAVE to start with 12 dex? A bit harsh for a TWF build, but hey, you can focus on crane style early on anyway.
