Two of my friends would like to try out roleplaying, so I figured I would run a lvl 1 module for them, with them playing pregens, before running an AP for them.
The have no experience with RPGs, but they have heard a lot about it, and they are both avid boardgamers.
I haven't tried any of the lvl 1 modules except Crypt of the Everflame, so I need your advice: Which one should I run for them?

I think you already know the best level 1 adventure to introduce new players to the game. It even has sequels if you want to run a mini AP to about level 6. I think there are better 1st level adventures but they all assume a familiarity with role play to begin with. I would give Crypt an 8 to begin with and a 10 for new players.

My favorite introductory module is "The Sunless Citadel", but it was written for 3.0, so it would take some adaptation.
(I intend to move on to it soon, after my current group finishes "King's Festival". I already adapted THAT to PFRPG, and it's also a good introduction. You can get this stuff from DriveThruRPG.com, here.)

Into the haunted forest is good. The darkmoon vale stuff is also good and provides a mini ap. D0 d1 d1.5 and..... d5 i think. The kobold king stuff + the later undead one. The last module additionally has alot of info for futre adventures. Additionally carnival of tears can easily be added along with the one about the fairy queen.. fellnight? Name escapes me.
Anyhow assuming the player doesnt have an issue with horror. The whole group woven together properly is probably ( in my opinion) the best mini ap the game has.
