A player wanted to know if there was a way to Shield bash with a tower shield the rules say that you can't but I think if he burns a feat and treats the Tower shield as a two handed weapon I don't see why not what do you all think
Points
1. Taking a new feat "Tower shield bash" allowing to use a tower shield to bash with
2. Treating a tower Shield as a two handed weapon to use

Seems fine to me, except, are they actually going to need to use two hands to bash with it? If so, and they dont have quick draw are they really going to drop their weapon? I think "treating" it as a 2 handed is good, but maiking it 2 handed makes more sense, a real tower shield is soooo heavy, to try and lash it out with yor single arm is nigh impossible.

I have no problem with creating a custom feat to allow shield bashing with a tower shield. I wouldn't even make it required to drop another weapon to do it. It's not as if being able to shield bash with a tower shield is any more implausible than other feats that fighters have access to which allow superhuman actions. I mean you're talking about a FEAT here.
I will say that I can't imagine any character of mine ever investing a feat in this though.

Worth considering is whether or not bashing with a tower shield incurs the -2 penalty (on attack rolls) associated with the use of the shield.
I would say it should incur the penalty. If it's so unwieldy that it incurs a penalty to your other arm(s)...
I would allow this(with a feat). A tower shield to be treated as bashing with a heavy shield(1d6 damage) or maybe 1d8 but no benefit from improved shield bash.
